Welcome to this year’s Leaping Lizards theatre production! Our students have spent the year developing technique, exploring artistry, building confidence, and discovering the joy of dance.

I’ve created this unique story especially for them, and I hope you enjoy seeing their passion and talent come alive on stage. Thank you for celebrating their achievements with us.

Synopsis

Three sad aliens from Planet Boring regularly spy on the exciting lives of the "Groove-Uns" of Planet Groove. They are so sad they decide to dust off the hidden away spaceship and explore!

We follow their adventures through space, which includes seeing some recognisable characters and nearly getting a speeding fine! They are having so much fun they don't realise that the Planet Boring "Agents", who do not want the aliens to have a fun life, are hot on their tail!

Do the aliens reach Planet Groove? If they do, what will they see and do? Will the agents catch up with them, and if so, will they be sent back to Planet Boring or get to enjoy a fun life on Planet Groove??

NEXT YEAR’S DANCE ADVENTURE

We will continue to offer fun, supportive classes for children aged 2 and up. A place where they can build confidence, coordination, and creativity while making friends.

TRY A NEW STYLE

If your dancer would like to try a new style, we offer Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical — exploring different styles helps kids improve their technique, artistry and confidence. Kids are welcome to try a new style in the remaining weeks of Term 4 2025.

FOR YOUNGER SIBLINGS

If there’s a younger sibling eager to join, our preschool classes (ages 2–5) are the perfect way to start their dance journey in a fun, caring environment.

Don’t let the kids have all the fun! Our sister school Spiritus Dance Company specialises in fun, friendly, inclusive classes for adults. From complete beginners to advanced. Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Pilates and Zumba.
